Eami Mathew

An Appeal

Love my darling yester born,
Soft, tender,my pet.
Love her hues and scented sweet
Hiding from beetles black.
A watchful gardener all around
Afraid of the flowers stolen, crushed
Withered and dead.
He blowed his trumpet once
Alighted his torch twice
Built a wire mesh all around
Pesticides for unfriendly pests
Still wailing all day long
Love my darling yester born.....
